Communication skill development courses are conducted by outside
agency for the students.
# Personality Development programmes as a two day programme
are conducted through outside agencies.
# Training is being imparted to UG and PG students in team building,
corporate behavior, body language, time management, interview
techniques etc.

The
above training is given
(i) by incorporating in time-table as an extra hour after the last
hour for every week
(ii) through outside agencies also the courses are conducted. |

Central Examination Facility, Number of rooms
and capacity of each.
An
examination cell is formed with three lecturers of mechanical department
and assistants from all departments. A separate room is given for
the cell.
The examination cell is responsible in conducting a) all the

Unit Tests for all students.
2) Model Examinations for all students.
The cell
a) obtains the questions from faculty,
b) takes Xerox copies
c) arranges for invigilators and conducts the tests
d) Sends the answer book to faculty
e) Collects the marks for sending the same to parents.
The
Examination cell is also making all the arrangements for the conduct
of University examinations, twice in a year, during Nov/Dec and
April/May. The cell is sending all the required particulars to the
University in the formats given. The cell is also looking after
the remuneration to faculty involved in the examination work.

Continuous Evaluation System and place

The attendance of the students are monitored closely for each
class |
b.

The students are continuously evaluated at regular intervals.
Their performance in the tests are also sent to their parents. |

In the class, the students are questioned during the period and
evaluation in the particular subject is made by the concerned
lecturer. |

In the practical also, the evaluation is done by conducting model
tests. |

For weak students, extra classes are conducted to monitor their
progress |

A model examination for 3 hours duration is conducted at the end
of the semester following the pattern of University Examination.
The performance of the students are noted and recorded. Based
upon performance in unit tests, model examination and attendance,
the internal assessment marks are given for the candidates. |

Students' assessment of Faculty, System in place
1.
Students are given the opportunity to give the feed back of the
faculty who are handling classes for them to their class lecturers
and also to their HOD's. This same is communicated to the Principal.
2.
The students are free to meet the Principal or the director and
give the feed back of faculty to them directly
3.
During the class committee meetings conducted once in a month, the
students are giving the assessment of faculty which are recorded,
and rectification measures are taken.
